Barca coach Luis Enrique never spoke to his players after the final whistle, instead leaving the post-match examination to the senior leadership group.

Don Balon says Messi took the wheel and for 20 minutes laid into his teammates in the away dressing room.

Those to get it between the eyes were Jeremy Mathieu, Andre Gomes and Samuel Umtiti. Also coming into criticism, though not as harsh, were Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Sergi Roberto.
