Manchester United have considered a move for Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser.

Indeed, United considered the Scot ahead of turning Swansea City midfielder Daniel James.

The London Evening Standard says United looked closely at Fraser, who has been such a revelation at Bournemouth this season.

But at the age of 25 and already established in the Premier League, it was considered the Scot's price would be more inflated than James', who is entering the final year of his contract.

United are unlikely to completely give up hope of convincing Borussia Dortmund to sell Jadon Sancho – but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is determined to have his full squad in place for the tour of Australia and the Far East, which starts on July 13.
