A Manchester City oversight has Manchester United favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
The Mirror says he fancies a move to Old Trafford with United now firm favourites to sign the 19-year-old this summer for a fee in the region of £120m.
And the reason for that confidence is due to the fact that City failed to insist on an 'anti-United' clause in Sancho's Dortmund contract when he left them for the Bundesliga side in 2017, says the Evening Standard.
City did insist on such a clause when they sold youngster Brahim Diaz to Real Madrid last year, meaning that they would receive a huge 40 per cent sell on fee if Real later allowed him to join United.
That decision perhaps came about after the sale of Sancho, and the teenager's immediate and impressive impact in Germany.
