REVEALED: Lukaku tells Chelsea 'forget Kounde - try for these 2 Inter Milan defenders'

Romelu Lukaku has told Chelsea chiefs to consider raiding Inter Milan for a new defender.

After missing out on Sevilla stopper Jules Kounde, Lukaku has recommended two former Inter teammates to his new employers.

Sportmediaset says Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar were the two players whom Lukaku is said to have recommended as being ideal options in the position for the Blues.

Bastoni, 22, is only in his third season with Inter and recently penned a new contract with the club through to the summer of 2024 in May this year.

Skriniar has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past having impressed in Serie A across the past several seasons.

The 26-year-old has amassed 170 first-team appearances for the Nerazzurri and has also become a key member at international level with Slovakia, whom he helped to this summer's Euros.
