Liverpool blew a chance to sell Divock Origi for near their current valuation earlier this month.
Borussia Dortmund are in talks with Liverpool about a permanent deal for the Belgium striker - but not at the Reds' €30m valuation.
HLN says Origi was ready to leave Anfield this month for Wolves, which were willing to pay €25m for the centre-forward.
But Liverpool rejected Wolves' approach, insisting Origi would only leave for their set price.
Valencia also made enquiries before signing Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, while being offered to Sampdoria came to nothing.
