LA Galaxy midfielder Steven Gerrard wants to play again in Europe.

The ex-Liverpool skipper wants to extend his career at the end of the MLS season with LA Galaxy, says The Sun.

But the former England captain, 36, has vowed to never play AGAINST his beloved Reds, who he led to a famous Champions League win 11 years ago.

And with Liverpool not in Europe's top club competition it leaves the door open for him to play for a leading continental side — just as former Galaxy star David Beckham did.

Becks had a six-month stint with Paris Saint- Germain before retiring, having also had two loan spells at AC Milan during his time in the MLS.
