Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia is ready to move to Liverpool.

TMW says the Reds are working with the Serie A giants to complete the deal in the next 72 hours.

If negotiations move faster than expected Ranocchia could be available for the FA Cup clash with Exeter on Friday.

The Italian international has made 166 appearances for Inter since moving to the San Siro in 2011.

Ranocchia has made just 10 appearances in Serie A under Roberto Mancini this campaign and would be delighted with a move to Anfield.
