Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has put in a call to the father of PSG striker Kylian Mbappe, it has been revealed.
Le 10 Sport says Mbappe is one of the world's most sought-after players, and has long been linked to Real Madrid in a move that some have suggested could cost as much as £250million.
However, Liverpool are also in the frame to sign the 21-year-old striker, who has scored 30 goals for Paris-Saint Germain this season.
Klopp has contacted Mbappe's father in a bid to gauge his son's interest in joining a team that is 25 points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Mbappe was reportedly on the verge of completing a transfer to Madrid shortly before football was postponed amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
