Toni Kroos is stalling on new contract talks with Real Madrid.
The midfielder's current deal is running down and will expire in June.
Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito, revealed: "Kroos has the right to exercise a one-year automatic renewal clause and has not yet done so.
"He could unilaterally decide to continue or not.
“He said that he had told his teammates that he wanted to finish this year at Real Madrid. He has already withdrawn from the national team, prematurely because he is in shape.
"He keeps thinking about whether to continue or not, but it depends exclusively on him."
