REVEALED: Klinsmann wanted Ozil, Podolski and Can at Hertha Berlin

Jurgen Klinsmann had big plans for Hertha Berlin, it has been revealed.

The former Germany coach resigned from Hertha last week in an episode which has been lampooned by local media.

However, Kicker says Klinsmann did have some big plans for Hertha before his dramatic decision.

Klinsmann wanted to sign Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil and Antalyaspor veteran Lukas Podolski, along with Emre Can before he left Juventus for Borussia Dortmund last month.

Klinsmann lasted just two and a half months in the job before quitting.
