REVEALED: Kante 'listened politely' to PSG, but...

N'Golo Kante never considered leaving Chelsea this summer, it has been revealed.

PSG sports director Antero Henrique, reports Le Parisian, made multiple approaches to Kante and his agents during the summer market.

However, while Kante "listened with a polite ear", there was never a chance of him being tempted from Stamford Bridge.

In France this week, it's been suggested Chelsea's attempts to secure Kante to an improved deal have stalled, though today Le Parisian insists the midfielder is fully committed to the Blues.

Kante has stated this past week: "There was no hurry to go anywhere else after the World Cup.

"There were clubs that were interested, but after talking to Chelsea, it was all clear to me. The club counts on me and I feel good. It was a logical step to continue at Chelsea.

"There have been some contacts (with PSG). But after a conversation with Chelsea, I realised that I am happy and that I feel good where I am. I play for Chelsea. It's good for me to stay with Chelsea."
