REVEALED: Juventus were preparing bid for Man Utd for Pogba before pandemic

Manchester United star Paul Pogba would have been a Juventus player if it were not for COVID-19, reports have claimed.

The French midfielder is not in the best form on the back of a 6-1 loss to Tottenham.

And it appears if the coronavirus pandemic had never happened, Juventus would have put up the money to sign him from United this summer.

Instead, Pogba has to spend another year with United before auditioning for a move during Euro 2020.

Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano said about the Pogba situation: "If there was no coronavirus, Paul Pogba today would've been playing for Juventus.

"Juve were ready to make an important bid for Pogba but with the financial crisis it was impossible."
