REVEALED: How Mendes managed to get control of Man Utd, Juventus target Joao Felix

Benfica president Luis Felipe Vieira has insisted super agent Jorge Mendes be involved in the management of wonder kid Joao Felix.

With Manchester United, Barcelona, Juventus and Wolves all keen, it's been revealed Vieira demanded Mendes be involved so to generate the best price possible for the midfielder.

Rui Melo, of A Bola, explained to France Football: "João has two partner agents: Pedro Cordeiro and Moreira de Sá, a striker of the 90s for modest clubs.

"(But) the president of Benfica prefers that all players are represented by Mendes. And when Felix signed his last contract, with a €120m release clause, the Mendes company, Gestifute, and the other agents entered into a partnership.

"They each represent 50% of João Félix. They (the agents and Benfica) have accepted that only Mendes could bring the best offers to the player."
