Revealed: How Bulut introduced Ozil to Fenerbahce players after Arsenal move

Fenerbahce coach Erol Bulut has happy to introduce Mesut Ozil to the squad before the new signing's first training session on Sunday.

The released Arsenal midfielder's move was rubberstamped on the weekend.

Ozil joined the Turkish giants after more than seven years at Arsenal, but is still working his way back to full fitness after not playing any type of competitive game since the Gunners beat West Ham 1-0 on March 7.

The German took in Fenerbahce's home victory against Kayserispor on Monday night, watching his new teammates win comfortably 3-0.

And 24 hours before the game, Ozil met the players as a group for the first time ahead of taking part in training.

Head coach Bulut's introduction was followed by FB TV, with the coach addressing the squad: "You know him better than I do!

"Try to help Mesut Özil. He will also assist you on the field. Show a good togetherness."

Ozil, meanwhile, quoted by Fanatik, said before his first training session: "My dream has come true. I will train with the team for the first time. Good luck, I am very happy. It was my dream as a Fenerbahçer, it came true.

"We tried very hard, God has given it, I'm here now. I hope and I wish us a successful season."

Ozil made 254 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal, scoring 44 times and producing 71 assists.
