Barcelona striker Ousmane Dembele didn't attempt to make any excuses after being late for training yesterday.

Dembele, having appeared to have won back the support of coach Ernesto Valverde and his teammates after a series of incidents earlier this season, again let himself down on Sunday.

AS says Barca management were able to locate Dembele quickly and the Frenchman admitted upon being contacted: "I've fallen asleep, now I will get there."

Upon his arrival, the majority of the squad had already left as Sunday was a recovery session. However, Sergio Busquets was present and offered little in terms of support to his tardy teammate.

For his part, Valverde ignored the player, telling his staff: "I'm not here to be someone's nanny."
