REVEALED: Coutinho calls Klopp; pleads for Liverpool return

Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho is pushing to return to Liverpool.

The Sunday World says he is willing to take a pay-cut to rejoin Liverpool this summer.

Barcelona are looking to offload Coutinho this summer and a move back to the Premier League has been mooted by his agent Kia Joorabchian.

The Brazilian has even contacted Reds boss Jurgen Klopp to push through a return to Anfield.

The 28-year-old playmaker has spent this season on loan at Bayern Munich after falling out of favour at Barcelona.

The deal also included a permanent option to sign Coutinho for in excess of £100million, but the German giants let that option expire last month.

Coutinho has been linked with Premier League sides Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham and Leicester City in recent months but he would seem to favour a return to Liverpool.
