Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas was pushing for a move to AS Monaco last summer, it has been revealed.
Cesc had been linked with AC Milan and Inter Milan in the final days of the transfer market.
The Daily Mail says Monaco is a tax-haven that appeals to some not-so-young footballers.
And Cesc, unwanted by Antonio Conte at Chelsea, was among those who fancied a move to Monaco this year but the club declined the opportunity.
