Chelsea have launched a bid for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.Sportmediaset says Chelsea have sounded out Inter about Icardi's availability and tabled an offer of €30 million for the Argentine.

The striker confessed just yesterday that new contract talks with Inter had stalled.

"It's at a difficult point, but today is not about that," Icardi told reporters after a charity match organised by Javier Zanetti.

"The people of San Siro love me, and I respect them so much. I try to make them happy in every game."
