Brighton players and staff said their farewell to Alexis Mac Allister last week.
The Argentina midfielder passed a medical at Liverpool yesterday amid an agreement over a £45m fee between the two clubs.
The Athletic reports Brighton chairman Tony Bloom flew the squad to Las Vegas last week to celebrate clinching Europa League qualification for the first time.
And it was during the trip that the players and coaching staff held a 'goodbye ceremony' for Mac Allister as talks with Liverpool reached their final stage.
Writing on Twitter on Wednesday, Naylor said: "Chairman Tony Bloom joined Brighton players and staff on a trip to Las Vegas last week, which included final goodbyes to Liverpool-bound Alexis Mac Allister. Several young players skipped the end of season celebration. You have to be at least 21 to gamble in Nevada."
