Barcelona are eager to put Arsenal through the wringer before allowing Denis Suarez to join them this month, it has been revealed.
Denis wants to see the move happen, as does Gunners boss Unai Emery, however Barca have changed their demands several times this month - much to the frustration of the Londoners.
Marca says the reason for Barca's tactics is the presence of their former director Raul Sanllehi at Arsenal, where he's now football chief.
Sanllehi, like Emery, is keen to sign Denis - but Barca are making him work for it.
It's suggested Barca's board still hold a grudge against Sanllehi for his role in Neymar's departure to PSG 18 months ago.
Stuck in the middle is Denis, who has also received the ultimatum to renew his deal - at a lower salary - or be blocked from joining the Gunners and spend the remainder of the season in the stands.
