Barcelona directors have asked Frenkie de Jong to suggest some signings, it has been claimed.
Dutch pundit Jack van Gelder has stated De Jong was asked by the board to put forward some names Barca should consider for the summer market.
He told Ziggo Sport: "I think Barca want to change things a bit.
"The story also goes that Frenkie de Jong was asked to think about reinforcements. He came up with André Onana, Donny van de Beek and Matthijs de Ligt, among others."
However, Van Gelder has a warning for Barca.
"I am reading the book by Louis van Gaal and I am looking again at the team of his at that time. That was just Ajax with a Barcelona shirt on. That you can not make it again, so to speak."
