Arsenal are closing on a deal for Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno this week.
BILD says Arsenal are nearing an agreement with Leno and will reveal him as their latest addition in the days to come in a deal worth around £20million.
German international Leno, also linked with Liverpool and Napoli recently, is thought to have a €25m (£22m) release clause as part of his contract which runs until 2020.
Leno - who captained Leverkusen on several occasions last term - has made 304 appearances for the Bundesliga side since 2013, keeping exactly 100 clean sheets.
Bayer sporting director Rudi Voller said recently: “Leno can leave but only on our terms.
“We are still in constant and open exchange with Bernd and his manager. Leno already had a concrete offer from Napoli in 2017, but we didn't have an equivalent backup at the time."
