It appears that Arsenal legend Thierry Henry was right on the mark regarding Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon striker has been one of the team's most consistent performers since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in 2018.

And the success of Aubameyang is no surprise to Henry, who said that he would be a resounding hit in the Premier League.

Speaking to Sky Sports following Aubameyang's arrival, the Frenchman said: "At the end of the day, you need to score goals.

"If they come from outside of the box or not, it is what it is.

"I back him to be a success for Arsenal Football Club and that's the most important thing."

That is what Aubameyang has done, and many Arsenal fans are hoping he will sign a new contract this summer.
