Patrick Bamford wants to stay put at Chelsea in order to fight for his place in the first team, according to reports from the Daily Star.
Bamford recently returned to Chelsea following an extremely frustrating loan spell with Crystal Palace and it was widely believed that the young striker would be looking to try his luck with another Premier League side by going out on a temporary basis once again in January.
It has been claimed that 22-year-old reigning Championship Player of the Year Bamford, who made just six sub appearances in the league for the Eagles, does not want to go out on loan again this season and is looking to stake his claim for a regular spot in the Chelsea first team under Guus Hiddink.
