Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli aims to stay in football after he retires.

The veteran will hang up the boots this summer.

“I will really miss the daily work, the jokes, preparing for games, suffering and celebrating along with the other lads," Barzagli told reporters at a fan event.

“It'll be tough, but a new journey begins for me now. The next year will be important in helping me figure out which path I should take, but I don't see myself far from football."
