RESTED?! Zlatan in Milan as Man Utd prepare for Zorya

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to be rested for Manchester United's Europa League meeting with Zorya Luhansk on Thursday.

Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Ibrahimovic has taken a short break in Milan as the rest of the Red Devils squad prepare for the visit of the Ukrainian side in the second group game of Europe's second tier club competition.

While Ibrahimovic, 34, made the trip to Holland for the opening Group A fixture against Feyenoord, it is understood that Jose Mourinho is set to rest him this time around.

United will get a week off after the weekend's Premier League action, due to the international break, but still it appears as though retired Sweden star Ibrahimovic will not be used in the midweek match.

The Gazzetta report suggests that Ibrahimovic dined at Fingers' Garden restaurant - co-owned by former AC Milan teammate Clarence Seedorf - and could spend a couple of days in Italy which indicates that he will not feature at all at Old Trafford on Thursday night.
