Manchester City attacker Kevin de Bruyne is keen to hear from Barcelona.

Mundo Deportivo says word via intermediaries has been relayed to Barca that De Bruyne is keen to hear from them.

However, while interested, the feedback has been such a deal would be "impossible" due to Barca's limited summer transfer budget. The Catalans are already focusing on big money deals for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez and potentially PSG attacker Neymar.

Over the weekend, De Bruyne cast doubt on his City future due to their two-year Champions League ban - which is the subject of appeal.

He said, “I'm just waiting. The club has told us that they are going to appeal - and that they are almost 100 percent sure that they are right.

“That's why I'm waiting to see what will happen. trust my team. Once the statement is made, I will review everything.
