Edinson Cavan's camp has reportedly made contact with Manchester United.
According to ESPN, the representatives of the Paris Saint-Germain striker have enquired with the Red Devils regarding their desire to sign the player.
United have been linked with Cavani for some time and it has emerged that the Uruguayan is keen to leave Parc des Princes in order to join Louis van Gaal's side.
PSG boss Lauent Blanc recently admitted that Cavani has been played out of position due to the presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and he is now pondering the sale of the 28-year-old.
Cavani has scored 10 Ligue 1 goals for the reigning French champions this season and would be a great acquisition for United who continue to experience woes in the final third.
