Southampton are planning a new raid this summer on Rennes.

After the success this season of former Rennes fullback Yann Valery, Saints management are returning for another French youngster.

Foot Mercato says Rennes striker Timothy Nkada is now in Saints' sights.

The 19 year-old has scored 11 goals in 16 games for Rennes reserves this season - seven since the New Year.

Nkada's current deal is due to expire in June.
