Rennes president Nicolas Holveck is confident the club will retain Eduardo Camavinga for next season.
The 17-year-old prodigy has attracted interest from Real Madrid and Manchester United after a breakthrough season in Ligue 1.
But Holveck thinks the financial impact of the coronavirus will prevent clubs meeting their demands.
"We are coming after an incredible crisis. When you listen to the big clubs," Holveck said.
"I'm not sure that this summer there will be big movements. We decided that Eduardo Camavinga will stay with us this season. He's a thoughtful boy."
