Rennes fullback Rod Fanni insists he's not fretting over a stalled move to Atletico Madrid.

The experienced Frenchman has been in talks with Atletico, but has seen negotiations recently stall. Rennes want bank guarantees from Atletico before selling the defender.

"Somehow, I've fallen between two chairs," said Fanni. "I have the impression of not being part of the plans and, on the other hand, Rennes is counting on me. I do not have much choice, so I wait.

"Atletico Madrid are interested and still care. But, as I have always said, I'm in a good club, I'm not frustrated."
