Rennes boss Julien Stephan rates Chelsea as among this season's Champions League favourites.

Stephan has been very complimentary of Chelsea, ahead of the two clubs doing battle at Stamford Bridge tonight.

On the Blues possibly being among the favourites to win the Champions League, the Frenchman said: “I'm convinced of it.

"They spent millions and signed Thiago Silva [on a free transfer as well].

“They can go very far in the competition and do well in the Premier League as well."
