Remy welcomes Chelsea arrival of Falcao - 'I can learn a lot'

Chelsea striker Loic Remy has welcomed the arrival of Radamel Falcao at Stamford Bridge.

Colombian striker Falcao joined the Blues on a season-long loan deal from Monaco at the start of the month.

One might think this move would push Remy further down the pecking order but the French international has taken the signing in his stride.

"Falcao is one of the best strikers in the league and it's good for the club to have this kind of player. For me there is no problem," Remy said as quoted by the Evening Standard.

"It is a good thing that he joined us and we have three strikers. We can all play because one of us can get injured and there are a lot of games during the season. Chelsea can count on three strikers and that's really good.

"I have watched him everywhere he has played. At Manchester United I think he may have had some trouble, but before that he was a very good striker, he scored a lot of goals.

Remy now aims to learn from one of the world's best strikers on the training pitch.

He added: "So for me it's good to play with him. I can learn a lot training next to this kind of player.

"It's all good to have Diego and Falcao next to me to improve and to be a good striker."
