REJECTED: Juventus turn down Man City offer for Bonucci

Juventus have reportedly rejected Manchester City's bid for Leonardo Bonucci.

Sky Sport Italia suggests that the Italian champions have knocked back a £38.6million (€45m) offer from City for their star defender.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reportedly told Sky that the offer included wages of €7m per year.

Juventus have made it clear that they have no plans to sell the Italy international this summer but it is understood that City boss Pep Guardiola is very keen and could return with a new and improved proposal.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is also a massive fan of 29-year-old Bonucci and this latest revelation could spark a bidding war between the pair of Premier League clubs but Max Allegri has no intention of seeing one of his top performers depart Turin anytime soon.
