Pepe Reina is happy with his mentor's role at AC Milan alongside younger goalkeepers Gianluigi Donnarumma and Alessandro Plizzari.

Reina could begin the season as third choice.

The veteran said, "Donnarumma and Plizzarri still have many years ahead of them. They're only 20 years old, so the future of Milan isn't in any doubt.

“We need to put fuel in our legs and adapt as soon as possible to the Coach's system. More than results, we need to focus on performance.

“We want to improve on last season and go to the Champions League."
