Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina feels the team is improving at such a rate that they will be back in contention for the Premier League title very soon.
The Reds sit sixth on the table after 10 matches and ahead of their home clash with Swansea City tomorrow, Reina has spoken highly of the progress the squad has made so far this campaign.
"We are a much better team than last season," said the Spaniard.
"We have strength in the team and the squad and it has become competitive right now.
"It is just the first step we have to take in a long-term project.
"Things are improving but we want to be even better and at some point be champions of the Premier League again."
