Watford have not been successful in a bid for Reims star Remi Oudin.

Per The Sun, the Hornets made a £7 million offer for the player to the French club.

However, the offer was seen as too low for a player who is also wanted by Newcastle United.

Oudin has been dubbed the new Robin van Persie due to his deadly left foot.

Reims want closer to £10 million for a player who netted 10 times in Ligue 1 this past season.

It is unclear if Watford will up their offer or look elsewhere.
