Reid wants Plymouth players to stop collecting 'cards'

Plymouth Argyle boss Peter Reid has demanded an improvement in his side's discipline in order for them to improve. Argyle have made a disappointing start to the season, winning just one of their first five games since suffering relegation in May.

They have had two players sent off and accumulated 12 yellow cards, with several set-pieces resulting in goals being conceded.

Reid told the Evening Herald: "We are giving away too many free-kicks, without a doubt. I'm sick of saying it. People are going nowhere and we are giving free-kicks away. It puts pressure on you all the time.

"You have got to be cool, professional and do your job. Some balls you can't get to and you have got to read that and stay strong."
