Reggina chief Riccardo Bigon admits winger Francesco Modesto was close to joining Roma in the summer.

"To know if Modesto will join the Giallorosso you must ask the leaders of Roma. It is up to them to make their choices. Sure thing is that Modesto in the summer was very close to Roma. Regarding future plans, we shall see," said Bigon.
