Ref Serdar Gozubuyuk has sung the praises of Ajax midfielder Hakim Ziyech.

Ziyech will leave Ajax for Chelsea at the end of this season.

And Gozubuyuk said in conversation with Andy van der Meyde: “I got to know Hakim Ziyech very differently.

“He won the Golden Boot at the Footballer of the Year gala. His mother came on stage, fantastic. I got to know the boy very differently, because people and the media create an image.

“Of course he is sometimes angry or I get angry, but afterwards you shake hands. That's with most players, but I got to know him very differently. That also works. He is never negative if you make a mistake once. A number of people can take an example from this."
