Players from Espanyol and Barcelona continued their melee after the final whistle of Sunday's 1-1 draw.

Tensions were already high prior to the match and this was only stoked further by Gerard Pique's gesture to the home fans after his late equalising goal.

In Jesus Gil Manzano's match report, he made clear that discussions continued amongst the players in the tunnel but he failed to name any player specifically.

"At the end of the match when we entered the tunnel, we found a group of players and staff from each club talking to each other," he explained in the report.

"However, we didn't observe any kind of aggression."
