Reece Oxford doesn't want to stay with West Ham.
The Sun says the defender has told West Ham chief David Moyes he wants to return to Borussia Monchengladbach during face-to-face talks yesterday.
Oxford, 19, has been recalled by the Hammers, but the central defender is determined to see out the season in the Bundesliga.
Monchengladbach favour a permanent deal and are willing to offer £15m, but Oxford is happy to spend the rest of the season in Germany on loan.
Moyes has offered no guarantees of first team football at struggling West Ham and that has convinced Oxford he needs to return to Monchengladbach.
The West Ham chief wants experienced players in his side to beat the drop and that means Oxford would have to wait for his chance again at the London Stadium. Instead he wants his loan move to be resurrected with the Germans.
