Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has no doubts about the quality of Manchester City youngster Phil Foden.
Redknapp believes the next step in the midfielder's development will see him break the 30-game barrier before succeeding 33-year-old David Silva at the Etihad.
"It's a hard team to break into," he told the Manchester Evening News. "He's a great talent and I think next year will be his year.
"Hopefully next year he'll get himself a starting place and we'll see him play 30-odd games next year. That's what we'd like to see.
"You hope they don't have to bring anybody in to replace David Silva. He could be the replacement."
