Jamie Redknapp admits his Dad, Harry, is upset after seeing his Tottenham defender Michael Dawson suffer a knee injury in England action last night.
Dawson broke down during England's 4-0 win over Bulgaria.
Redknapp Jr told the Daily Mail: "I spoke to my dad, Harry last night, after the sad injury to Michael Dawson.
"Dad is devastated for the lad, because he absolutely loves him and he has been terrific for Tottenham. Michael's a top professional, who gives everything in every game and he didn't deserve that.
"It was so innocuous as well and just shows what can happen. I know what it feels like to come off on a stretcher when playing for England. It's a horrible feeling."
