Harry Redknapp is close to signing a new two-year contract with Tottenham.

The News of the World says Redknapp is on the verge of signing a two-year extension at Spurs.

Redknapp has one year left on his contract at White Hart Lane, but talks are under way about a new deal after he guided them into the Champions League.

But Tottenham's chairman inserted an option to extend his contract by two years when he joined from Portsmouth and that will now be triggered.
