Real Valladolid owner Ronaldo Nazario admits he's trying to sign on-loan Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior.

However, despite making a request to Real president Florentino Perez, Ronaldo says it will be very difficult to sign Vinicius Junior.

"I've already asked Florentino [for Vinicius Junior], but it's very difficult," he explained.

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique is rumoured to be looking to follow Ronaldo into ownership of a football club, however the Brazilian has made clear that their only contact to this point has been as a favour to his nephews.

"My nephews are in love with Shakira, so I asked for a video," he intimated.

"From there we began talking and we have discussed meeting in person to discuss our projects.

"However, we've not done that yet."
