Real Valladolid face stiff competition for Watford striker Cucho Hernandez

Real Valladolid face competition to land Watford striker Cucho Hernandez.

Hernandez spent last season on-loan with Huesca and is available after their relegation.

Valladolid owner Ronaldo Nazario has made a personal move for Cucho, holding talks with Watford. Ronaldo has a good relationship with the Pozzo family, Watford's owners.

However, AS says Real Mallorca, Betis and Espanyol are also interested in the Colombian youngster.

Watford, meanwhile, are insisting only a loan arrangement will be considered as they recognise Cucho's potential.
