Real Sociedad winger Takefusa Kubo says he's ready for Saturday's Basque derby at Athletic Bilbao.

Kubo insists he always feels confident playing at San Mames.

The Japan international said: "If they asked me about three stadiums that I like, in addition to Anoeta, I would include San Mamés, because the fans are pressing, even if they are rivals, and the atmosphere is very good, which motivates you. And, if they are a direct rival, it's much more.

"Many people always told me that what marks the team and the player are the last 10 games, even more so if they are important like the ones we have left, because three or four are going to be six points, since we are going to have teams in front of us who are fighting for the same thing, some even bigger than ours.

"It's time to show what we've been doing all season, show how well we're doing, in this decisive stretch of LaLiga, and give the fans that great joy they're waiting for, greater than in recent years."
