Real Sociedad president Jokin Apperribay admits they made an attempt to sign AIK winger Nabil Bahoui.

A deal for the midfielder fell through last week.

"There was a final episode, the first agent with whom we met was with Nabil. From there we focused on a loan but included in the future we could buy him.

"AIK Solna has refused to let him join on loan, last week the option to buy was considered, and when it was all agreed AIK Solna pulled out."
