Real Sociedad have informed Barcelona their asking price for Willian Jose.

Jose is a target for Barca as they seek an emergency replacement signing for injured forward Ousmane Dembele.

Marca says although there is no official offer for the Brazilian striker, the two clubs entered into negotiations back in January.

Barcelona approached Real Sociedad after a deal with Valencia over Rodrigo Moreno fell through.

The Catalan side are willing to pay 23 million euros plus bonuses for Willian Jose, who also attracted interest from teams such as Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle and West Ham.

Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu already knows that he will have to spend around 35m euros to sign the player and it remains to be seen whether he will give the green light.
